30-Day Return Window

KM Fine Jewelry offers a 30-day return window beginning from the date your order is delivered. We understand that selecting fine jewelry is a deeply personal decision, and we want you to have ample time to ensure your piece is exactly right. Whether it is an engagement ring, a pair of diamond studs, or a pendant necklace, you may return any eligible item within this 30-day period for a full refund to your original payment method. Items returned after the 30-day window may be eligible for store credit at our discretion.

Return Condition Requirements

To qualify for a return, items must be in their original, unworn condition. This means the jewelry must show no signs of wear, scratching, resizing, or alteration. All items must be returned with their original packaging, including the jewelry box, protective pouch, and any authentication cards or tags. Diamond and gemstone pieces must include the original grading report or certificate. We inspect every returned item carefully, and items that do not meet these condition requirements will be returned to you at your expense. We recommend trying on rings over a soft surface and keeping all packaging materials until you are certain you wish to keep your purchase.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin the return process, contact our customer service team at returns@kmfinejewelry.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team will respond within one business day with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid, fully insured FedEx shipping label. Please do not send any item back without first obtaining an RMA number, as unauthorized returns may experience processing delays. Pack your jewelry securely in its original packaging, attach the provided shipping label, and schedule a FedEx pickup or drop off at any FedEx location. We recommend keeping your shipping receipt and tracking number until the return is fully processed.

Refund Timeline

Once we receive your returned item, our gemologists and quality assurance team will inspect it within 2 business days. Upon approval, your refund will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Credit card refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution. Wire transfer refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been initiated. If you have not seen your refund after 10 business days from our confirmation email, please contact your bank or card issuer, then reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. These include jewelry with custom engravings or personalized inscriptions, special-order pieces created to your specific design specifications, loose diamonds or gemstones that have been set into a custom mounting after purchase, items that have been resized or altered after delivery, and any item showing signs of wear including scratches, dents, or tarnishing. Gift cards and jewelry care products are also non-returnable. If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact our customer service team before shipping it back.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your purchase for a different size, style, or item, we are happy to assist. Contact our customer service team at returns@kmfinejewelry.com to arrange an exchange. For ring sizing exchanges, we offer one complimentary resize within 60 days of purchase for standard band widths. If you are exchanging for an item of greater value, you will be charged the price difference. If exchanging for an item of lesser value, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method. Exchange items are subject to the same condition requirements as returns, and all exchanges must be initiated within the 30-day return window. We will ship your new item once the original piece has been received and inspected.
